Hey! This looks great and I am looking to build the same Outmos pergola for my home in SE QLD. What orientation is your yard?
@@bburattini if I sit on the outdoor lounge, I’m looking west :)

Brilliantly done. Great job 👍

@@kingdavidluke yeah sorry I didn’t get a chance to add it before I edited the video.
Gorgeous! Just Super Gorgeous! Thank you for this very informative, educational, and entertaining video. They don't teach you this in school. Your mom, neighbors, and friends were very cool. Love it!
Aww thanks so much Cliff 🙌🏻
Great video! Thank you!
You’re so welcome
I'm wondering if this structure could be used as a carport for a small car?
Yes it sure could. You can make them any size you want. They have additional T connector parts you can buy so you can go longer. I think the max distance between legs they recommend is 3m. So you just add a T connector and extra leg in the middle if you want to go longer or wide than that.
TY for the idea, i made mine and so glad i did, it was the best :)
You are a jack of all trades, amazing! Your skills are top notch
Thanks so much Jenny 🙌🏻
I've had this machine for about 3 years & have struggled to get the milk frothing right. It's a bit hit & miss at times & milk overflows. The video I watched belonging to Sunbeam showed how to do it 0 but it is completely different to your video. Can you please do a video on how to froth milk for a cappuccino?
My technique isn’t correct, it’s just what I found works best for me. Better to listen to the experts. Here’s a video that explains it a little better. Just note that with smaller home machines like the sunbeam, you need to let air in for a bit longer to get some foam. Once you have enough, push the nozzle down in to create that whirlpool and finish heating. Once it’s whirlpooling, it shouldn’t get any bigger in volume. ruclips.net/video/Q45zCLnLyuE/видео.htmlsi=b0GIRat3UUCYMPhx
how does the foam survive rain? dod you have to wash them everytime it rains or take them inside the moment it rains
The fabric is waterproof.
Well, just like cheap IKEA furniture... I can see that your cheaply made outdoor sofa is NOT GOING TO LAST... You have NO bottom support other than 3 screws on each side.... Ahhhh, nahhhh.... At best, it'll last a couple of weeks of consistent use, maybe. It's better use just to take pictures of it, but not to actually use it for sitting.
Meanwhile, it’s 2 years later and it’s as strong as ever. Just because something is cheap doesn’t mean it’s nasty, like you.
I did this in texas now im trying to insulate it i can feel heat radiating down
What colour roof did you do?
Black now i need to add foam panels n finish it to stop the heat
@@romeinc ahh yes, the black will be absorbing heat. That’s why I went with a white roof.
So clever! Way better than the expensive panels , thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
what a great job❣️😊🫶🏻
Thanks so much ☺️
Thank you soooo much I got the same bed you made my day bless you 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Why is it always fight of a cold. Like? Hang on. Shouldn’t we eat this.. all the time 😆
thanks for your DIY instruction. And you are a cute girl.
You’re very welcome
Wow lady that painting has left me breathless! Artwork is so expensive in Australia, like easily 800 bucks plus for a large painting like that. What kind of paint did you use on that? I understood the primer and the drywall mud, but what else did you use for the black and grey parts? I would love to give it a try! Also where is your bone inlay sideboard from? Looks amazing!!
Thank you so much! The beige paint is some leftover wall paint and I also mixed up some regular cheap artists acrylics to make different shades of brown and beige. The black was also just cheap artist acrylic. The bone inlay sideboard is another of my DIY’s! Here’s the video: ruclips.net/video/oM2XhSDD0Bg/видео.htmlsi=uQLGRrh8bfvF4W6I
Did you put a pitch on the roof for the rain runoff?
I didn’t but in hindsight I should have. I thought about this half way through but decided not to. I’d suggest adding some slanted timber screwed to the inner side of the box structure of the top, then screw the rafter supports into those. That way they’re a bit more hidden and the roof will look like it’s floating which will have a nice effect. With it as it is, most does run off the end but a little sits there until it dries in the sun.
I didn’t but in hindsight, I should have.
Thank you so much. My inlet valve was like a water fountain on the weekend and your video helped me out. Plumber was charging $250 and only took me an hour and a $30 replacement from bunnings.
Awesome! So glad it helped.
@@NicoleHerrickDIY it really did thank you. Was wondering would you know how to adjust the half flush / flush flush to release less water. I feel with this replacement the half flush feels like a full flush now. Regardless thank you so much, plus your other videos are amazing as well
@@shinlee3921 so you can make the shaft shorter and you can also adjust the small screw at the top. Check the second half of my video where I talk about that.
Good job. Mesh is so much neater cosmetically and stronger.
Thank you!
this is one of best video i see thx
Aww thank you!
Where did buy the roof metal sheets?
I actually for them for free on marketplace, but the cheapest place to buy them is from local roofing manufacturers and you can get them to cut them to size for free usually. Cheaper than hardware stores.
complimenti bellissimo e bravissima
Grazie mille
Thanks so much for this
You’re so welcome

Very nice. Next time, please wear a mask when handling dry cement mix.
Oh thank you! I didn’t realise this, I appreciate the knowledge!
That cement dust contains nasty chemicals like silica that cause cancer. Also when the dust gets into your lungs and gets damp, it will turn into little concrete chunks. So yes, a mask designed specifically for dust is important protection.
Love it!
Thanks so much
@@NicoleHerrickDIY You're welcome! 💕
Brilliant job. If you're out of lockdown do ya fancy popping over to Ireland to do the same on my back yard please? Or a catio build either. I really need a catio. Cheers😄 New subbie here.
Haha sure! I need a catio too. How about you fly here and build me a catio and I’ll fly to Ireland and spruce up your backyard. Deal? ;)
What is the measurements of it?
I made mine approx 2.7x2.5 metres and 2.4m high.
That's cool. A bit of CA glue to hold it together could help too. Well done Nic.
Ooh thanks James. I was worried that it might add an extra layer and make the join more visible but it sounds like it’s the better way to go.
Thanks Nicole, great video, much appreciated. It's a great beginner's wheel, I'm enjoying it as well
Good explanation but stinks the video is granulated...
I’m so excited to try this project. My husband is in mourning over all the projects I found I want to tackle. Great job!!!!
Ahh well tell your husband that you can do it yourself girl 💪💪💪💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
Nicely done. I wish I knew why it is so difficult to change from a 90 to a 45 and vice versa.
There is two things you need to adjust to move between the horizontal degrees. Is it that or the vertical plan you’re having trouble with?
@NicoleHerrickDIY horizontal. I have to use a rubber mallet to knock it off the detent.
Hey hey do you still have this set? How is the aluminium holding up? Isn't it super rusty now? Greetings and thank you for the video
I sure do. It’s painted or powder coated steel. Holding up just fine.
@@NicoleHerrickDIY thank you so much it's great I'm going to make it too! I hope I can find the IKEA part here in my country
@@DaPowpow most of the ikea futons should be painted with the same waterproof coating and have a similar mechanism that you can cut off for this make.
The most informative video I've watch regarding door locks. Well done. No one really explains the reason for the little "bolt" which is above the Big bolt.
Glad it was helpful Karl
Thank you for sharing this video now i have idea for my rav4 mirror
I like the idea of reusing furniture, but as someone who owned a very similar futon, those black plastic clips holding the wooden slats in wear out and break very quickly with regular use. The wood slats also break pretty easily if you’re not careful.
On its 3rd year outside after who knows how many other years with its first owner, still going strong. 💪
@@NicoleHerrickDIY maybe IKEA has stepped its game up in recent years, I bought my similar futon in 2009. 🤷♂️
Beautiful structure (wood and black elements) with a shoddy, unsightly tin roof that killed the good final effect.
Thank you. What kind of roof you would add to be beautiful?
I built the same thing in 4 hrs 😂
Good on you Mike.
